Chari was born and raised in West Michigan, and currently resides in Alto. She has received training at GRCC, along with workshops in New Mexico and Ohio. Chari's classical depictions of landscape capture the soft, gentle stillness inherent in the untouched beauty of nature. Inspired by scenery from places both near and far, she seeks to recreate the universal idea of landscape in time. Providing a space for rest and contemplation, these pastoral scenes reflect internal retreat. She is represented by Byrneboehm Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI.
